Why I Write?
I write to express my pain.
My disappointment that has no gain.
Parents that were insane or incoherent
I was abandoned for a frame of time.
That didn't make me weak or whine.
I am strong to say that I'm sane
And ready to play life's game
I got stuck with someone mental deranged
In turn to be in range for danger
We grow up with no money or healthy food
I write to tell my story
Of a girl that had the courage
To throw up her hand to the rage
I write to show understanding
That no matter how bad life get to stay positive
I write to say I'm in a better safe place
No not heaven but a loving home of my own.
Thanks to God that gave the girl the courage to tell her story
