Why I Write
I write
To fill the gap between my teeth
With fire caught words
That are spat into your ears
And made you shake your head repetitively in agreement
Because I've just connected with you
I write
To give my anger an outlet
Like the wall sending electricity through a wire
To give life
I write
To make your heart pulsate
With anger
With hate
With love
I write
To the people
Who have screwed me over
Like a tool pushing me head first into a wall
I write
To verbally slam
My broken heart into your chest
So you can feel my pain
As if it were your own
I write
Because the pen doesn't reply
I write
Because that's therapy
To the mind of a jaded person
I write
It's what I do
It's what I'm passionate about
