Why I Write...

No one really listens

If they do, they don't care

Pick up paper and a pen

A story I'll share

What really is the point?

Readers won't understand but that's the thing

Most write so people can read but I write so no one reads.

This is why I write

Giving myself a future

I see it so bright but the grasp is less than tight.

Sometimes I don't know so

I put on a show.

People think I'm so happy

Honestly my feelings are just on the low

This is why I write

I write because there aren't any wrongs or  rights.

Right?

Right.

So write.

People try to change me

I don't complain

I do the same

Every single day

I try to vision someone else

Someone better

Someone who is happier with their self

I have to remember they're just letters

Letters on a page

That add up to words

Words that add up to sentences

Sentences that add up to truth

The truth you don't want to say aloud

So write it.

Read it.

Burn it.

Feel Better.

........and that's why I write.
