Everyone has that teacher

that influenced and made them bright

mine guided and focused me

and she is why I write

I fell in love with the art of words

how they can express and sometimes be trite

the way they can affect the human mind

this is why I write

Anything that is broken can be mended

flames that are gone can reignite

the power of words in the right hands

reminds me why I write

There are many reasons I write. I love being able to express even my most indescribable thoughts in poems, short stories and notes. Writing is an art that I will continue all my life. It brings me and the people around me much joy.
