Why I Write
These words
They swirl inside my head
Tugging, taunting
They could stay inside instead
But my mind is much too loud
I can't keep my thoughts bound
I must articulate
Truth, beauty, reality
I must share what I have to give
You can ask me what I think
Silence is not my surrender
I'm simply transcribing
What my lips cannot say
