This is why I write

Poetry is a diary

to me it is pure therapy

It is the only place to express your misery

your accomplishments and your happiness.

So you ask me why I write?

I write so I could be heard

I write so I could have a voice

A voice that expresses my thoughts.

Poetry gives me empowerment 

it brightens my day and consoles me in the dark

Poetry like no other makes me who I am

I write to be empowered, I write to expresse my thought, I write for me.
