Why I Write

I do not write so that i can rhyme, or for someone to tell me good job

I do not write to give others something to talk about

I do not write for someone to please me or give me credits

then the question comes from the lips of pure red, " why do you write"?

I write for freedom, the pen glides across the paper and my deepest of thoughts flow with it

I write because it is freeing and I do not have to hide what is truly wrong

I write because I am not judged for what I say

I write because on paper it is just me and the world is an outsider and for the first time I am inside

I write because it makes me feel apart of something bigger

I write for the escape and the exhilarating feeling of accomplishment

I write because i know that I am not critized for being me and on paper nobody ever knows the true you, and at that point I write to be anonymous.
