Why I write?

Well, IDK why

I guess since I Iearned I couldn't get a runners' high

I decided to get a writers' high

Qiute strange, but that's poetry

A lyrical mystery

An uncertain destiny

A wonderful remedy

To forget our daily worries

To revisit  sweet memories

To give hope to the desperate

Yes, Indeed! I write poetry to have faith

Faith in this merciless societies

Faith to forget mankind's atrocities

Faith in these so called economic recoveries

Faith to believe in the possibilities

Of changing a tear into a smile
