Why I Write
As I try with all my might
I never find it hard to write.
With my dreams made of clouds
A want to make my parents proud.
Always wanting to progress
They find something to digress.
The sound of pen across paper
And the days getting later
I wonder what I have created
For my soul is never sated.
Words begin to flow
As easy as the wind blow.
With my heart in my hand
Each emotion a strand
Across the empty page
As though it were a stage
Begging to be played.
I had once prayed
My mind not stray
For my inspiration to stay.
A new dream in mind
I have become more refined.
Perhaps my tuition
Will come to fruition.
For I try with all my might
And never find it hard to write.
