There are many reasons why I write poetry and there are many reasons you write poetry i suppose but the most common reason is because we choose to express ourselves in words that we cant verbally interpret, "The words left unsaid". Poetry in my opinion shouldn't be happy, before you say anything think about it, it's human nature to express our inner joy and happiness(We naturally do that physically and verbally). On the other hand, the broken hearted side of us is stuck inside until we let it out on paper that's how we express sorrow. This is why I write, i write to express my sorrow, my pain and my deepest fears. I write to let anger out my journal is my bestfriend, my sister, my brother, my mom, my dad, my journal is it all and nothing is better than having friend to talk to when you're in need so I write not because it's Poetry but because i need a friend and im passionate with it.
