Why I Write

With a pencil in hand and thoughts on the mind,

Who can limit the words that I can find?

So I write, day by day,

I write to wash my worries away.

I write for pride,

Stride for stride,

And for all the tears I've cried.

I write to see

Just where I'll be,

And to find what's inside me.

Without anything hindering the writing stages,

Inspiration continues coming throughout my ages.
