Why I Write

When feelings overwhelm
And there is no way to express
The ups and downs
Of the crazy ride
This crazy ride of life
Paper and pen
The neutral ground
These two objects
I channel my bursting energy
And words spill forth
Onto the paper plane
Words, feelings, emotions
This is why I write
