Why I Write
The throbbing in my brain
The tingling in my fingers
The sorrow in my heart
The tears releasing my eyes
I write to express
I write to let go
I write to scream and shout
I write for people to know
The cuts and bruises
The blood stained carpet
The purple of the skin
From the pain that inflicted
No rhyme
No techniques
I write to write
I write to be me
I write to show people
What lies inside of me
I write to announce
My feeling kept within'
But let me tell you one secret
I don't just write
But writing writes me
