Why I Write

I write in prose or in rhyme to tell the story of the life that is lived everyday yet not expressed by all in the same way. I was introduced to this delicious way of communication by somone we all know. My favorite witer of the modern time, it was the man who wrote Cat In The Hat. Dr. Seuss did not write in the most of eloquent manners yet his stories were are still remembered by the words that animated the pictures themself. To bring alive energy in one from reading a book with silly illustrations with wacky rhymes is a skill that not all can do. I write to bring alive and express feelings that sometimes words cannot have the same reaction. To write poetry is to think with the heart and to fell the words flow into the canvas like the waves in the majestic ocean. Calm yet strong at the same time,it provides a paradox that cannot be explained by the rules that people in this world have. It is a part of the way of life and happens whether people know it or not. At least once in a person's life they will demonstrate this and that is not a fact, its a truth. I write to express, to explain, to feel, and to take off any shackles that might have kept me fettered. When i write i tell the world, " You no longer have me bound" and i am free. Free to write.
