Why I Write
Why Do I write?
I write because I have feelings
I write because I love, laugh, hate, and cry
I write to tell the world what's wrong
even when i don't know myself
or i'm to afraid to actually say it
i write because i'm a fighter
who believes that this outlet is better then cutting myself
i write because i have so many words in my head
threatening to spill out of my mouth in an angry rage
i write to stop myself
from hurting others and the ones i love
i write because it makes me happy
i write because it frustrates me
i write because it's the most beautiful thing in the world
i write because writing is what saved me on the worst day of my life
when i thought i had no other option
but to stop and end everything
but writing saved me
i sat down and wrote a letter to god
asking him to save me
and he did
writing gave me the strength to say things i never thought i could
writing was the one way i could be myself
this is why i write
