Why I Write

Throughout our younger years we have many people that help us learn

Whether it is right from wrong, compassion, patience, or even about religion

While our minds develop, we intertwine these basic teachings in with our personalities

Some of us are very similar to what we are taught, and others are the opposite

To blame others for what we have become is incorrect, to not blame ourselves is also incorrect

What an individual has learned is right does not always feel good, but what an individual has learned is wrong can feel good

How can it be that our mind, heart, and head can deceive us like this?

What is right should feel good and what is wrong should not feel good

Could this be due to the fact that each person has his or her own personal rights and wrongs?

The people that steal, lie, or cheat tell others to not do those things

Judgment is casted over all aspects of individuals by other individuals

This disease can turn people into fighters or drag them down to the dark

A big hooray to the fighters while condolences are sent the way of the ones who are gone

The only cure for this disgustingness is dependent on the individual

Interesting how those who come from a strong family can become the weak and those who come from a broken family are solid

So these teachings can continue to spread but the true individual is going to be there

Something so good like this, is right

This much love, is right

All the smiles, laughs, and even the pain is right

What has been taught is that she is wrong

What I have learned is that two people of the same sex are to be nothing more than friends

The disease that has spread to me has made me a fighter

Almost two years we have fought together side by side and neither one of us has shown weakness
