Why I Write
You see I was just sixteen when I wrote my first,
tired of all the stress of the High School Curse,
I never really fit into the cliques,
so after a while I just found a fix,
It was after I heard of a man named Poe,
I started to write so that my mind could let go,
and suddenly as if it were a dream of inspiration,
words came together like a retalliation,
my pen became my sword; my paper was my shield,
it felt for the first time I could be me without yeild,
I took the darkness from inside,
and made it a masterpiece that couldn't be denied,
That is the story of how I came to write,
it was to make way for peace from the spite.
