Why I write

Sitting in front of a computer

all my emotions beating at the wall

my fingers fly across the keyboard

all the emotions hit the page

and I stand stunned

my teacher looks over my shoulder

amazed at what I created

she said you have to continue

and I did

notebooks fill my bookshelves

stacks in the attic as tall as

a six foot man

filled with emotions

every tear, laugh, smile

all in those random books

and this is why I write.
