Why I write

Eyes are opened and process another torturous day. Picked on, made fun of, definately not  going your way. You're ugly and rough were simply just words. You write it all down, you want your voice to be HEARD. Loose papers and scraps, anything you can find. Write it all down, leave that world behind. Overcome them with wisdom, courage, and rhythm. Beat the jokes, false images and especially the isms. Middle school was rough, but high school brought harder days. Grades were'nt an issue you were looking for the sun rays. Where's the hope, the fun, the happiness found? They were all lies, so you write it all down. But the words you write, somehow bring you power. The scraps get displayed, some faces get sour. No names were given, just feelings you see, yet some how many apologies came straight to me. My work spoke for itself, that's why I say now, don't get emotional, just write it all down.
