Why I Write
New to poerty, I learned from music. Familiar with the idea, studied it in class. I knew I was fascinated. I write because poets before me are my inspiration. From Tupac and Biggie to Shakespeare and Langston Hughes. I write because I have dreams. I write because it can be simple and flow. I write because of imagination. I write because of symbolism and deep meaning. I write because of self-expression; feelings and thoughts. I write because it's a form of therapy. I write because it's freedom and free.
