Why I Write

Why do i write?

I write because the paper listens better than a loved one.

why do i write?

i write because the pen has the ability to bring peace or destroy civilizations.

why do i write?

i write because it is my only opportunity to be someone,

i write because my enemies told me not to write,

i write because my role model told me id never be anything

i write because my mind wants to scream what my lips cannot.

why do i write?

i write to show my little brother there are other ways to make money.

why do i write?

i write because what letters this paper holds can open the path to my future.

why do i write?

i write because i want to return the 18 years i took from my mother,

i write because i have nothing left but this pen and paper,

i write because no one else will write,

i write because its my chance.

That is why i write.
