Why I Write
I write release
All of the negativity, the pain, happiness, and joy becomes a single entity on my paper.
I write the trees on a cold dead winter's night.
Barren without regret.
I write the oceans
The way the waves kiss the surface of a woman stricken by grief and disress
The way the calming caress of the pale grainy sand soothes her thoughts of being unloved and invisible to the world
I write love
The anger of it
Feeling weak and vulnerable under that beautifying touch
The touch that will make you do anything
I write prosperity
Hope for better days and successful endeavours
I write dreams of lives
Lived and lost
But most importantly, I write
Me.
