Why I Write

I write for freedom.
I write to vindicate my feelings, my ways of living.
I write for those who can't, be it for lack of ability or lack of life.
I write for those who can but are too afraid to come to terms with their feelings.

I write for truth.
I write to release what has been held inside.
I write to uncover what has been dampened, darkened, defeated.

I write for life.
I write to share my experiences, the experiences of others.
I write so that others may be able to share in my experiences and feel compelled to share their own.

I write for others. So that they can feel powerful to write for themselves.
