Why I write

I write to shame all those who think I have no business in the English writing world.

I write to silence my battered ego that says I am good enough;like I haven't toiled.

I write because I have the right to.

Because my creator instilled in me the knowledge.

To let the world know my thoughts,

my emotions,

my longings,

my beliefs,

my inspirations

Because I have the right to.

I have the right to be heard.

I have the right to let the world know when I'm seared.

I have the right to voice my opinion when humanity seems to mean nothing to them;all but dead.

I have the right to let the world know what I desire.

I have that right to what keeps me up at night.

And I have the right to my principles just as they are this high(gesture)

I have the right to let the world know my stance against my values,

will not be overpowered by their ungodly views.

I have the right to let them know who I look up to and model my life after.

I have that right to whatever that person may be: it doesn't matter.

Be it a shrink,a pope,a farmer

They sure have no say in whoever I say is my mantra.

Because I am me.

And only me in this universe.

I write and write in English because I have a contribution to make.

I write in English because I deserve this reward for my own sake.

After learning a language which isn't mine.

And having the courage to go through that take.

I write because my battered ego shouldn't define me.

I write because it has no place anywhere that belongs to me.

I write to let that ego know that I may not be the best

But I sure do try my hardest and that,.....that shows.

And so to all this I will forever write.

Will forever prove everything wrong to say I'm bright.

Untill all these personal demons of fright,

Have all.....been of heist.
