Why I Write
Poetry to me is communication, and it's essential to life. It's a way that I get to express myself. Whether it's to let off steam, or dream without
having anybody breathing down my neck. I write when I'm mad, when I have regrets, I write down my desires and inspirations.
Poetry can and should be an important part of our daily lives. Poems can inspire and make us think about what it means to be
a member of the human race. By just spending a few minutes reading a poem each day, new worlds can be revealed.
Another great thing about poetry is how it lets people see through the eyes of anyone...even their so-called "enemy".
Poetry puts your observations, opinions, and even train of thought out there. Once people see how you think, they might
have a feeling of why ou say what you say, do what you do, or react like you do. This can prevent misunderstandings. Poetry
can make it easier to step into the shoes of someone else, which is the key to happiness.
