Why I Write

I am sand. I am sand on the shore of a beach.

The ocean, the vast blue expanse of sea, is the depths of my heart- the depth of my humanity.
And as the sand longs, and as it wonders about what exactly it is that lingers in those far-off waters,
I wonder what all mysteries my heart has kept hidden from me.
But every stroke of my pen upon paper, it is a wave softly crashing rolling over me.,
Giving me a taste, just a taste, of what all is out there, That someday I might fully know.
And that, that is why I write.
