Why I Write

I come alive when I write A pen in hand a universe to create Characters wait in frozen time I give them life with each new page A boy A girl A meet cute waiting for me to write them in to existence A planet under villainess attack A hero born to take it back A war is won when all is done A planet saved by bravery Poems Sonnets Short stories Novels Novellas Creative writing I do all this for the readers the readers will be able to live thousands of lives defeat hundreds of villains travel forward backward and sideways through time visit outer space walk on the moons of planets that I have created Why do I write? As an escape As an adventure As a privilege As a pleasure As "Write"
