Why I Write
I write
to say the things I cannot speak
to show my heart
and what is inside
I write
for comfort
for peace
for the joy of writing
I write
to show what my heart says
I write
of flowers and butterflies
of trees and rivers and blowing winds
I write
all that I can
I write
for the sake of writing.
