Why I Write

A question may be asked

To every caliber of poet

As to why they write.

To me, it is a silly question

For many have the same answer

Or a reverse thereof;

"I live to write"

or, as I respond-

"I write to live"

I love your perspective on poetry. However, I fear that this simplistic restatement may have been used already. I believe it is a strong point but I fear that someone may have written with it already. Also, In no offense, it is kind of cheesey.
