Why I Write
People write because they like to let out their emotions, while others write because they like too.
Some like writing because of creativity, but I like to write because it keeps me alive.
Since I was child I suffered from depression due to being an outcast child, when I turned 11 that's when I turned to self-harm.
I am now currently 18 and going to college soon. But I still have the same problem that I did 7 years ago
I try so hard to keep myself stable but sometimes it's more than I can handle.
Writing is my escape from the world and my escape from reality
Writing is more than just words on paper, it's more than just sentences and paragraphs
Writing is where I can be myself and also secretly hidden.
Poems and songs and little silly stories all keep me distracted
When I'm feeling sucicidal I turn to a piece of paper
I write as much as I need to, to forget that the world exist.
Sometimes I even make up raps that don't make sense
Many people like to write just to take up time. Others like to write in hope to make a selling story
I don't have much to say on why I really like to write, besides that fact it keeps me moving forward
Writing means more to me than anyone can imagine.
This is who I am and what I do and go through. This is my life
Without writing, I honestly don't think I'd be here
So bless the person who nvented stories, bless the person who invented poems
And bless the person who created writing because it's saved many souls
I hope that in several years I'll look back on what I've written
And smile at the fact that writing helped me get to where I got
Because writing has saved my life just like it's saved many others.
And I shall continue write in my life because this will help me get better
