Why I Write

I write to release the pressure in my mind
Even if the words to express are hard to find
Letters and numbers weigh heavy in a cloud
When I write they all come raining down loud
Dancing across the page
Sometimes in rage
Will always result in a beautiful serenade
Relaxing my mind clouds begin to fade
Painted rainbows will lead the way
Until tomorrow when everything's a brand new day
