Why I Write

Is it just me?
Or do your thoughts ever get too deep?
See, sometimes I forget how to speak
I get lost in my mind
And can't seem to leave
So I write
I write about my fears for the future
I write about my parents fights
I write about the pain I feel sometimes when I'm alone at night
I write about the way the world should be
How every should know thank you and please
I write about my brother
And that I pray for him to succeed
I write about my friends
The ones who and left
And the ones who will never leave
I write about my family
And how grateful am I to have them
But mostly...
I write about me
How all these things have only made me strong
And how Ive learned that life will always go on
