Why I Write?

My endless thoughts are part of why I write My emotions trigger the words to write what you read on this book Every poem has its story a reason of it's existence Don't underestimate my writing It may be short and simple But has a deeper meaning that what your able to see They may be the cries for help The joy of what I am able to live The anger that is hopelessly escaping my control The tears are the words written down unable to show it to the world They are my emotions They speak what I'm unable to say They show what I'm scared for others to see It's the only way I am able to handle what's inside This is why I write

Hello! My name is Maria and I'm 18 years old. I love to write poems I do it for the fun. Its easier to express myself this way, every poem I have its story behind it. I like to get advice from other poets and would love to read what other poets have written!
