Why I Write
Floating;
Footsteps falling among the starry nights
And fair voices calling out into golden sunsets.
Floating through life with
endless opportunity.
Lines will be drawn on faces and hands,
eyes will be darkened and hair will
Reflect the very starry nights under which we walked.
But
We Will Walk,
Under those stars and ,
Shout into that sun.
We WILL
Write our stories
Conquer our fears
and relinquish our envies.
And I will write down those triumphs.
I will record the wins and the losses so that we
Can look back fondly and
Remember.
Remember how we walked,
And how we conquered and how we won.
I will write to remember,
To reflect and to smile.
I will write so that no story
Shall go
UNWRITTEN.
No words spoken will be lost.
Under the starry sky, our stories,
They will live on,
Floating.
