Why I Write

Storming out of the house, stumbling over myself stares as I enter the yellow bus as eyes devour me, grumbling under their breath waiting. impatiently were days that turn into dark cooking ,cleaning, helping "mom's" out DOING MY PART!! all ended when my heart dropped... as I was handed my diploma, the key to a new start. Family in the crowd, rooting me along "YES!! you've done it" you have broken the cycle BE STRONG! the first one to step out trying to be somebody.. The first day of College Nervous and Quiet My parents Kissed my forehead to an tearful "GOODBYE" glancing out of the rear view mirror wiping a tear from each eye..... MOMMY left me,not as her kid but, an rising adult. feeling alone, without my mothers touch I began to write fulfilling each sheet..with warmth in my heart!! this was the day that I began to compose re-writing my family cycle throwing out the OLD defeating obstacles...making my own path!! re-writing a NEW START! AMBITIOUS, FURIOUS, AND BOLD!
