WHY I WRITE



I write

to fight

all the things in mind sight

things that overwhelm my brain

driving it nearly insane

just the intensity of life

while you ask why i write

to free concerns, worries, memories, issues

that cause tears to lay on the tissue

put out for me

through misery or joy'

as i pour my soul into a bottle capped tight

with all the caputations that create light

to shine through

for who shall we run to shall this bottle overflow

with growth

to flood or run out

or maybe both

shall this explan
