"Why I write"

I write for the broken, yes, you and me, the ones with no hope,

no sense of security.

I write for the sadness, the longing to be free, the good and the bad,

the hero and the enemy.

I write for myself, to understand my goal, to be in harmony with life,

to have an understanding soul.

To be me or another, thats why I write, to never lose hope, to finally enter

 the light.

I want to help others, so through my poetry I relate, to the people hurting,

some consumed by hate.

For the people are not my enemy, but sorrow and and pain itself, just as

the poor blamed the rich, just for having wealth.

So I write for the broken, yes, you and me, so we can live together,

in perfect harmony.
