Why I write/ Answers or Echoes

I write because it makes me feel free. I sit still thinking of worlds that rhyme, mostly I talk to myself like its just you and me. Unfortunately I hardly receive answers. However, I wish someone could give me an answer for why my grandmother was taking away by cancer. I am not a rapper I am an artist or a poet you tell me which one comes closest. The only reason I do this is to escape reality. Therefore I am searching for answers but only hear echos. They tell me to let go of whats happened in my past. I only have five dollars in my pocket, looking at my mom like how am I suppose to make that last. When I continue to argue with myself an angel comes to me she speaks sweet words. The only words I remember is "let go". I write for simple reasons and in this season I have more problems then I can put in my pockets and a lent ball in the corner of my wallet wish I could trade that for $100 and an American Express Card. American Dreams don't seem obtainable to me which is another reason I write because writing these words help me realize I'm on my way to college which means I'm winning this fight. That angel that was an echo promised she would never take flight. The finsihed line is in my sights so its what I am aiming for and this is my last shot. As I write and listen to my angel I find the answer in my mind filled with echoes. I am the answer to my own problems now I realize it is time to "let go". Rising college student on the daily feeling out scholarships waiting my turn to just receive one. This is the story of my life and I just wrote chapter 1. I write because it is the only way to defeat a monster I call pain.
