Why I Write (Poem)

When stress bothers where I lay,

a poem becomes the sweet lullaby that keeps it away.

When I am feeling something that is hard to express,

a poem helps me do my best.

When ideas are hard to put on paper,

a poem is my friendly neighbor.

A poem is all the thoughts,

that you wanted to unleash in words.

But decided that things were better,

to be presented to the poetry nerds.
