Why do I write?

Because I can.

Don’t try to stop me;

There is no ban.

Writing poetry is open to all of man.

That’s why I love it,

It is free.

Allowing all to tap into their creativity.

Spewing out emotions that are all locked up inside.

Poetry is the key to the heart where all feelings decide to hide.

I write and I will always write.

Poetry and I, we are tight.

It calms my nerves and allows me to think,

Giving every issue and thought time to sink.

It gives me a chance to be in solitude.

Putting pen to paper, my opinions and mood.

Poetry is beautiful, a pure form of art.

It’s made a special way into my heart.

I write poetry because I learn more about me.

There is nothing like letting your mind free…

I write because I have the right to write poetry.
