Why I Write Poetry/My Issues
I write poetry, because it helps me vent
I hate stressin’ so that heart attack is what Im tryna prevent
Lemme take you into my world
The pain in the pit of my stomach just might make you hurl
I'm in New York City livin' out my dreams
But what you see on the outside is not what it seems
My mind's goin' crazy...thirsty for the C.R.E.A.M.
I'm the supreme ruler steady lookin' for his queen
But see life can be so mean
When your feelin' like the only one who's on your team
See my strength within...that's somethin' real
Even if I don't feel it but I know the deal
Feelin' like I been hit in my Achilles' heel
Maybe this is god tellin' me to finally kneel
Down...Cause I'm not one that's for religion
I'm takin' life by the horns, makin' my decisions
Be patient and everything will finally come
But my patience runs thin so I smoke 'til I'm numb
I see my life ahead of me like a crystal ball
I see the world in my hand 'cause I want it all
