Why I Write, Why I Live

Why do I write?
It is really simple
Poetry is my light
In this dark world we call existence

Hardships plague me everyday
It's so hard to bear
But when I write
It all goes away

I write to live
I live to write
I wish I could write all day
I wish I could write all night

Poety is my muse
Because it's what I choose
Without it I would not be
Without it, I'm not me
