Why Is It?

Why is it that when I’m always trying to do the right things,

People always got to stick their mouths in my business.

I bet if I was doing the wrong things,

People will still have a lot to say,

So forget what they talking bout.

Why is it because I choose to not let peer pressure dictate my life,

Makes me a stuck up person?

Nah,

I’m not stuck up,

I choose to be a leader and not a follower.

Why is it that I’m consider a nerd because I put 80% of my time preparing for my future?

Because I refuse to be a low-life trying to please others that don’t mean me no good.

More than half the people you are trying to please in your life,

Don’t care nothing about you.

They only want to be connected to you if there something in it for them.   

Even though I don’t have any friends,

I have had more accomplishments in my life than the people who been running their mouths about me.                            

People said that I wouldn’t be able to run on the next level in college,

And I’m starting next fall.

So I’m happy with the choices I made,

Because I know I am going to reach my dreams.

Now let see what my haters are going to do with their life,

Since they spent so much time trying to make sure I didn’t reach my dreams.
