Why is letting go so

Why is letting go so hard?

It is a process from the start.
Perhaps it is easier for the bard
When she can put the loss into words.
The mission is not complete,
But it is moving along.
Both parties have to be willing, be strong,
Dedicated in deed and thoughts.
He must go it alone...
Find his comfort zone.
Find his way home.
Hope, that binding force
Makes her want him to move forward, thrive
In the hopes she can do the same.
That they recognize each other in the role of teacher
Putting down the weapon of blame.
He and she must find and fight their demons apart.
Search for and foster their personal truth.
Self-sufficient, self-sustaining, self-soother, all lost arts.
But once again what was hidden is found within  his and her waiting heart.
Reconciliation with one's self is coming.
It will not be long.
