Why look at the stars?

Why look at the stars?

Because the stars are up, and I am down.

I cannot touch them, and they cannot touch me.

They are different from anything I've seen.

They twinkle, and I only wish I could.

They bring warmth, like they tell me I should.

Because even when I loose all things material,

I will have them to look upon, constantly.

But mainly because I fear the darkness,

And they are light.
