Why love?

Love is fall, it comes and it goes/ blooming, maturing, dying like a rose/ with only some nurture and care it will grow/ step on the root, it may stub your toe/ passion is fleeting, lust we all know/ neglect leaves us weathered, souls frozen as snow/ if it weren't for heartache, pain like no other/ we'd cling to, we'd fling too, we'd grasp and smother/ love reaches all, no matter the color/ so embrace it, face it, and love strong as a mother.
