Why Me?

I look into these kids eyes and see a haze

Kids see mine and they see determination

I thought I couldn't go because of the pay

They go just to drink

I am wondering why me?

When all I see is spoiled punks spending parents money

I have a dream and its mine no one else's

I am tryng and trying but not sure if I will end up in more debt or praised

Why me? Why can't I get paid? Why can't I get finiancial aid?

Then I see I am getting paid with knowledge

So then I see why people say Why me?
