Why me?

Just the way we are

Why

must we play the silly game of life,

slipping and slidding our way through the stupid cycle?

Calling each other out for our wrong-doings,

even if our own doings are wrong.

Why

must we play with each others' heart, words, feelings?

We quite others simply because we don't want to be quited ourselves,

we get into fist fights to place fear first on peoples' list.

Why

must we take away wills to live.

Why

must we damage others to make us feel better.

Why

must we be this way?
