Why Me?

I ask myself, why me?

Why was I granted with your love?

Your love that makes me stronger each day.

How am I so lucky to have someone that cares so much about me,

Who calls me when I do not feel my best,

Who reminds me how I am valued in this world,

Why me?

How did you choose me?

I use to think I was a nobody.

I thought,

My body,

Dictated who,

Would,

Bother to talk to me.

How does your love have the ability to make me feel special?

Why me?

All these questions I have for you,

Yet they do not matter because I love you.

And I know you love me.

And you make me strong.

You never would hurt me,

Like those have done in the past.

You taught me what it felt to be respected.

But,

Why me?

What have I done to deserve to all of your love,

Your eternal love?

There has never been a moment when you made me feel alone,

And that is what I fear.

How are you able to love a broken, beaten up me?

Why me?

Is it for my personality?

Is it for my looks?

Is it for how well we work with each other?

Is it for how we have a bond that is inseparable?

Is it because I love you?

Because I love you.

Forever and always,

I will continue to love you.

It is because of your love,

That I do not have to ask myself,

Why me?

Because I love you,

And you love me,

And we love each other.

And love is the most powerful thing in the world.

It is because I love you,

That I feel the best I can,

That I am not alone,

And that I am me.

All because I love you.
