Why must we hurt?

It seems like the only way we can live is to hurt

The only way that we hurt is to live

So why do we continuously hurt?

Some of us just want to feel something

Others, have no way of helping ourselves

Our deepest darkest fears around every single corner

Ready to jump out and scare us back to reality

Reality

That word is what scares us the most

We can't live in our play pretend anymore

Life's not all sunshines and rainbows

For I'm used to nothing but hurt

But that doesn't mean that there's no love

But when we go to war

Against others

Against ourselves

We lose our

Mothers

Brothers

Fathers

Sisters

Friends

It seems that none of these ends

Will meet

But we'll just have to wait

And see what the future

Will bring
